This product is indicated for the treatment of respiratory infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, sepsis, infective endocarditis, hepatobiliary system infections, and infections of the eye, ear, nose, and throat caused by sensitive bacteria. It can also be used as a prophylactic medication before surgical procedures.
