Flomoxef sodium is a broad-spectrum Oxacephem antibiotic. It is highly effective and safe for the treatment of β-lactam, especially, it has a good clinical effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis infections. It also has little resistance and low nephrotoxicity, making it the only injectable antibiotic available to newborns in Japan. The CDE status of fluoxef sodium is“I”.
